Summary Forest Services (FS) is the part of Forestry Commission working to put in place the conditions that enable landowners and managers, businesses, civil society organisations and local communities to protect, improve and expand the entire woodland resource in England. The Sustainable Forest Management team (SFM) is part of Forest Services and has lead responsibility for the operations of forestry regulations such as felling licences, and grant support for woodlands other than the Public Forest Estate; the admin hubs are part of this team. The Administration Hubs are located within the Forest Service Area offices at Bucks Horn Oak and Bullers Hill. The admin hubs operate in a functional way that is able to respond quickly to evolving business needs.
