Job Description

Crisis Director of Corporate Services At Crisis, we believe that homelessness should not exist in 21st Century Great Britain. Tackling this injustice is what motivates our people. It is not inevitable, and policy choices can be made to end homelessness for good. Ending homelessness is what underpins our five year strategy . It is why a carefully researched plan Everybody In: How to End Homelessness in Great Britain was written. This sets out for the governments of the UK, Scotland and Wales what needs to be done if they are committed to ending homelessness. We know homelessness can be ended; our frontline services work with thousands of people to help them end their homelessness, but we need the right national policies if we are to end it for good. We are now seeking a Director of Corporate Services to join our dynamic senior leadership team. This is not simply a CFO job with a few other things bolted on; this is a job about ensuring our money, technology, data, buildings, facilities, planning and performance measurement all come together to demonstrate our values in practice and enable our colleagues to do their very best work, supporting thousands of people out of homelessness, delivering world-class research and policy work and raising the funds we need to deliver all of this. It is the most senior finance role in the organisation, and the strategic financial opportunities and challenges are significant. This individual needs to be committed to our values and our mission to end homelessness, as well as being a qualified accountant or equivalent with substantial senior management experience across functions, including finance. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and transformational leader with the strategic skills to help us achieve our ambitious plans.
